Adam Vinatieri - Special Teams Adam Vinatieri became one of the league's top free-agents last year, and was acquired as an unrestricted free agent in 2006 from the New England Patriots, where he spent the first ten seasons of his career. In 2006, Vinatieri appeared in 13 games, and helped to earn his fourth Super Bowl victory. He made 25 of 28 total field goals, and was perfect on extra point tries (38-38), recording his 11th consecutive one hundred-point season.
