Peyton Manning started 16 games for ninth consecutive season in 2006, while earning his seventh career Pro Bowl selection. Manning has more complete passes, more yards thrown, more touchdowns, and a higher passer rating, in a career-opening nine-year span than any NFL player. 2006 was the career making year after many other great seasons, as Manning managed to post an NFL-record seventh career 4,000-plus yards season; he also became the only quarterback in NFL history with 25-plus touchdown passes in nine consecutive seasons.
