 Peyton Manning - Quarterback Peyton Manning started 16 games for ninth consecutive season in 2006, while earning his seventh career Pro Bowl selection. Manning has more complete passes, more yards thrown, more touchdowns, and a higher passer rating, in a career-opening nine-year span than any NFL player. 2006 was the career making year after many other great seasons, as Manning managed to post an NFL-record seventh career 4,000-plus yards season; he also became the only quarterback in NFL history with 25-plus touchdown passes in nine consecutive seasons. Led the Colts to a 29-17 Super Bowl XLI victory against the Chicago Bears, while earning Most Valuable Player honors (the first Colts Super Bowl MVP).
