Joe Horn - Wide Receiver
Joe Horn was working at a restaurant with his mother and claimed to only have $6 to his name. With that money, he purchased a Jerry Rice workout video. He put together a highlight film and sent it off to several teams. The Memphis Mad Dogs of the CFL, liked it enough to sign him up to their 1995 squad where he led the team in receptions and receiving yards. In 1996, the KC Chiefs drafted Joe Horn and placed him on Special Teams and reserve wide receiver. In 2000, the New Orleans Saints signed Joe Horn as a free agent and he's proven to be one of the elite wide receivers in the NFL. He was voted to the Pro Bowl four out of six seasons with the Saints and holds several franchise records in receiving. In March 2007, after refusing to take a pay cut, the Saints released Horn and he was signed by the Atlanta Falcons to be their #1 receiver.
