Jon Kitna - Quarterback
Jon Kitna - Quarterback Jon Kitna has been around the block -- playing for Seattle and in Cincinnati. Kitna knows how to play the quarterback position. Kitna's career has been filled with numerous highs and lows but he remains resilient, proving he is a true starting quarterback. It seems as if Kitna has found a home in Detroit, at least for now! In 2006, Kitna passed for 4,208 yards and threw 21 touchdowns but tossed 22 interceptions. Kitna's quarterback passer rating was just a mere 79.9 percent. 4,000 plus yards is impressive but Kitna will need to play in more control to reduce his interceptions and turnovers. He gets in trouble when he is doing too much. This has always been the knock on Jon Kitna. Look for Kitna to lead a Lion team loaded with weapons to an improved season. Kitna spoke out earlier this off- season stating that the Lions were the feel good team of 2007 and would win 9-10 games. Look for an improved Kinta and Lion team but not a 10 win, Kitna Pro Bowl, Lion team.
