Kevin Mawae - Offensive Lineman
Kevin Mawae - Offensive Lineman Kevin Mawae was originally drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the second round of the 1994 NFL Draft, spent eight seasons with the New York Jets, and later came to the Titans, signing as an unrestricted free agent in March of 2006. During the 2006 season, his first with the Titans, Mawae started strong, bringing much-needed veteran leadership and solid athleticism to the offensive line. He is credited with playing a key role in the Titans fifth overall ranking in NFL rushing stats, and in Vince Young earning Associated Press Offensive Rookie of the Year honors. He suffered a torn tricep in his left arm when playing with the Jets, the first injury of his career that took him out of the starting rotation.
