Mike Furrey - Wide Receiver

Mike Furrey started his career as a defensive back, wide receiver mix. It was not until he got to Detroit that his receiving abilities were noticed and fully utilized. Furrey was the go to guy for Detroit down the stretch in 2006. Look for Furrey to be that guy in the clutch again for Kitna and the Lions. Furrey may not snag 90 balls but this hard working receiver inked a new deal that will have him in Detroit for at least a few more years. Furrey will fit in nicely as the slot wide receiver behind Calvin Johnson and Roy Williams. This trio should emerge as one of, the NFL's best over the next few seasons.
