Chris Simms - Quarterback
Chris Simms - Quarterback Chris Simms ruptured his spleen against the Panthers in late September 2006. The former third round pick (in 2003) was placed on injured reserve in November. Simms is still having issues with his throwing mechanics. Although he has seen practice time in training camp, Simms will not be challenging Jeff Garcia for the stating job any time soon.
