Ladell Betts - Running Back
Ladell Betts - Running Back Ladell Betts almost single handedly salvaged a very disappointing season in Washington last year. When Clinton Portis went down for the season, Betts got the nod and ran like he was the starting back all along. Sure, familiarity with Joe Gibbs power running game helped, but he's a low to the ground, strong runner which is a perfect fit with the type of game the Redskins should be playing. He will split carries with Portis and Rock Cartwright, but if Portis gets hurt again, he will be playing a lot more and should put up decent numbers.
