Paris Saint-Germain are set to steal French wonderkid Kylian from under the nose of Real Madrid.
Sources tell Football.com Mbappe could be introduced as a PSG player as soon as next Monday.
Just a week after crushing the world transfer record to temp Neymar away from Barcelona for $260m (£198m), PSG are said to be “one step closer” to completing the $211m (£163m) deal to sign Mbappe from Monaco, according to Spanish newspaper Marca.
The Ligue 1 clubs have reportedly reached an agreement over Mbappe. All it needs is the seal of approval from lawyers before it’s completed, says Marca.
Monaco simply couldn’t turn down the huge amount of cash the French giants were offering for the 18-year-old.
Mbappe’s father is reportedly urging his son to sign for PSG rather than Real Madrid – once the hot favorite for his signature.
The deal is another huge message being sent by PSG owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi that he wants to make the club one of the world’s best and bring a Champions League trophy to the Parc des Princes.
