Bayern Bungle: Did Munich Keeper Sven Ulreich Commit Biggest Blunder in Champions League History?

Poor Sven Ulreich is probably still hoping to wake up from his nightmare.

Just 20 seconds in to the second half of Bayern Munich’s Champions League semifinal second leg against Real Madrid, the score was tied 1-1.

There was no danger, just a loose pass that would be easily dispatched by the keeper 99 times out of 100.

He could have booted it. He could have picked it up. He could have done anything except what he did, which was to let the ball pass through his body to allow Karim Benzema to tap it in the net.

Watch it and weep.
