2. Shut off the full backs
We saw David Alaba's explosive pace at work in London last time out and Philipp Lahm is the ever reliable presence, he has ever been. Arsenal have to cut off the Bayern's attacking threat to avoid an uphill struggle becoming unassailable and keeping the full backs at bay will go a long way towards this. The home side will no doubt be looking to hit the Gunners on the counter with the away team with all the work to do but if Wenger can keep his wide men pushed up the pitch then we will see Alaba and Lahm's defensive resolve tested and also see their attacking threat muted.
