Barcelona have celebrated their fourth La Liga win in five years with on open-topped bus parade through the city.
They were greeted by thousands of fans who lined the streets determined to join in the celebrations.
The manner in which they clinched the title was less than spectacular - Real Madrid's failure to beat Espanyol handed the Catalan giants the crown before they had kicked a ball at the weekend.
But that certainly didn't dampen the carnival mood as players and fans soaked up the atmosphere.
The club has endured its fair share of adversity this season, with both defender Eric Abidal and head coach Tito Vilanova affected by serious illness.
But Barca were able to carry on after a brilliant start to the domestic campaign and wrapped up the title with four games to spare.
