Standard Liege cruised to a 3-0 win over Lierse in the Belgian First Division on Friday, with all the goals arriving in the first half.
Imoh Ezekiel opened the scoring in the 21st minute of the match at the Stade Maurice Dufrasne, before setting up the second for Paul-Jose M'Poku, who struck to make it 2-0 on 33 minutes.
Nigerian forward Ezekiel was back on target seven minutes later, bagging his second and Liege's third to earn the home side a 3-0 lead.
Liege failed to add to their tally in the second half, but saw out the time remaining in relative comfort, climbing to fifth place in the league standings.
A third defeat in four matches left Lierse 13th, five points clear of the relegation zone.
