It was Anderlecht's 11th consecutive victory in the domestic league and kept them eight points clear of second-placed Zulte-Waregam, who comfortably overcame Lierse 2-0 at home.
Goals to Karel D'Haene (28th minute) and Franck Berrier (51st), who converted his own blocked penalty, took Zulte's unbeaten run to 12 league games.
A 92nd-minute winner condemned Genk to a 2-1 loss away to Mechelen with the result allowing the victors to put Genk's sixth position under pressure.
