Standard Liege came from 3-1 down in the second half to steal a 4-3 win at Zulte-Waregem in the Belgian First Division playoffs on Friday.
In an enthralling and fast-paced encounter at Regenboogstadion, Mbaye Leye gave Zulte the lead in just the fourth minute.
Standard levelled through William Vainqueur's 40th-minute strike but went into the interval behind after Thorgan Hazard, brother of Chelsea star Eden, restored Zulte's lead on the cusp of half-time.
And when Bruno Godeau doubled the hosts' lead nine minutes after the break Standard looked to be headed for a first defeat in four matches.
But the visitors began their rally when Paul-Jose M'Poku pulled a goal back on 61 minutes.
Kanu squared matters just three minutes later to deflate Zulte spirits and Imoh Ezekiel capped the remarkable comeback with a match winner 11 minutes from time.
Despite being winless in the playoffs, Zulte occupy second place behind Anderlecht on 34 points while Standard are two points back in third.
