Besiktas have made an offer for Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor, according to director Ahmet Kavalci.
Adebayor joined the White Hart Lane outfit on a permanent deal in August 2012 after impressing during a loan spell at the club.
But the former Arsenal player struggled for form last season, scoring just five goals in the Premier League.
The Super Lig side are believed to be interested in securing the services of former FIFA World Player of the Year Ronaldinho but now appear to have turned their attention to Adebayor as a deal for the Brazilian stalls.
"We have presented our offer for Adebayor," Kavalci was quoted as saying by Fanatik.
"We haven't yet got a response back but anything can happen at any given time."
