While other groups of the African Nations Championship (CHAN) have nations already packing their bags and crashing out of the competition with still one match to play, Group B is left tight after the second group matches with all teams having a chance to qualify for the quarter-finals.
Only one country have registered a win in the wide open group which is Uganda, who might not any favour from anyone if they win their final match of the group stage on Monday against Morocco. The Cranes will move to seven points if they win and they will finish the group on the summit with seven points.
Second placed Morocco will definitely not want to drop points as they are the only Arabians in the tournament, and a win will see them go on five points meaning a qualification might be possible only if Zimbabwe, who are third with two points as well, does not collect maximum points against underperforming and rock bottom placed Burkina Faso.
The 2013 Africa Cup of Nations runner-up might be languishing in the foot of the group with a single point, but if they upset Zimbabwe and Uganda win against Morocco, then the Indomitable Lions will advance to the last eight with four points. Group B promises to produce fireworks and it will be a group to watch the last round of group fixtures takes place from Sunday.
