Chile Primera Division Wrap: O'Higgins go top with Espanola win

O'Higgins overcame Union Espanola 2-0 in their top-of-the-table clash in Chile on Friday to move one point clear at the summit.
Carlos Escobar broke the deadlock in the 19th minute, scoring his third goal in as many games.
O'Higgins put the game beyond doubt early in the second-half courtesy of defender Luis Figueroa.
Eduardo Berizzo's side now sit top of the table, one point ahead of Espanola and Universidad Catolica, who were held to a 1-1 draw by Deportes Iquique.
Meanwhile, 10-man Cobreloa climbed up to fourth after they trounced bottom-side Cobresal 4-1 at the Estadio El Cobre.
Cobresal took a 1-0 lead into the half-time break but goals from Gaston Lezcano, Pablo Gonzalez, Sebastian Pol and Rene Lima inspired the visitors to victory.
In other results across the weekend, Universidad de Chile were stunned 4-2 at Antofagasta, Colo-Colo had to settle for a point after letting a two-goal lead slip and sixth-placed Union La Calera accounted for Nublense 2-0.
Everton eased past Santiago Wanderers 3-0, San Marcos prevailed 1-0 at home to Rangers, while Audax Italiano edged Palestino 1-0.
