Clarke calls for Odemwingie support

West Bromwich Albion manager Steve Clarke has called for fans to move past Peter Odemwingie's recent issues.
The beleaguered striker was met with jeers against Sunderland on February 23 as he made his first appearance at the Hawthorns since criticising the club on Twitter and attempting to force through a move to Queens Park Rangers in the January transfer window.
Odemwingie was well received by West Brom's travelling support at Chelsea on Saturday and Clarke would like to see the home crowd follow suit against Swansea City.
"Am I keen to see home fans put things in the past? I would like to think so and, if he plays and scores goals, they will give him a good reception," Clarke told reporters.
"Everyone knows the Peter incident happened but it's passed for us and we have all moved on from it, and I look forward to his contribution for the rest of the season.
"Peter and I have a good relationship ... excellent relationship."
