Fellaini protests innocence over Zabaleta incident

Manchester United midfielder has protested his innocence over an 'elbow' threw at Pablo Zabaleta during Manchester United's 3-0 defeat to the blues.

Marouane Fellaini has been quoted as to saying "I don't know, but I certainly didn't do it on purpose.
"I put my arm up to try and protect possession of the ball, and Zabaleta bounced (his jaw) against it. He was unlucky to make contact.
"The movement by me was not in an aggressive manner. It was a defensive move to protect the ball."

The midfielder is lucky to escaped what could of been a red card after the action was made, but he pleaded his innocence to Michael Oliver during the game.

This isn't the first time Fellaini has been involved in something like this, he got a 3 match ban for a headbutt on Ryan Shawcross. Fellaini apologised after the match, even with Moyes coming out to say that he should be banned, it is now the complete opposite at Manchester United.
