Juventus coach Antonio Conte has confirmed his interest in signing Athletic Bilbao striker Fernando Llorente.
Llorente, 27, has been linked to several big European clubs with the Serie A giants appearing his most likely destination when his contract expires in the off-season.
Despite sitting top of the Serie A by five points, Juventus have struggled for goals with Fabio Quagliarella (six league goals) their top scorer.
Conte, whose team face Sampdoria at home on Sunday, said he would be delighted to welcome the Spaniard to the Juventus Stadium.
"Llorente plays for the Spanish national team. He's done great things at Athletic Bilbao and he's surely an interesting player since he didn't renew his contract," Conte said.
"Juventus should remain with eyes wide open and monitor the situation, in particular because there could be the chance to buy a great player for not much money.
"And if he chooses Juventus we will surely be happy."
Lazio closed the gap on Juventus to five points on Saturday with a come-from-behind 2-1 victory over Cagliari.
A 10-man Catania played out a 0-0 draw at home to Torino in the day's other game.
