Atletico Mineiro preserved their 100 percent record in the Copa Libertadores with a commanding 5-2 over Arsenal on Wednesday.
A brace from former Milan and Barcelona star Ronaldinho and goals from Diego Tardelli, Luan and Alecsandro helped make it five wins from five for Mineiro in group three.
Tardelli got the hosts off to the perfect start with an 11th minute goal.
Ronaldinho doubled Mineiro's advantage four minutes later from the penalty spot however Diego Braghieri pulled a goal back for Arsenal five minutes before the break.
Mineiro restored their two-goal lead just two minutes into the second-half courtesy of Luan and Ronaldinho put the result beyond doubt with his second on the hour mark.
Dario Benedetto added a second for Arsenal five minutes from time but Alecsandro ensured the group leaders had the final say with a fifth deep into injury time.
A hat-trick from Bryan Rodriguez guided Huachipato to a comprehensive 4-0 win away to Caracas.
The Uruguayan striker struck twice in the first-half and again in the second, while Federico Falcone added some gloss to the scoreline late in the match as Huachipato moved level on points with Fluminense in group eight.
It only took eight minutes for the visitors to hit the front courtesy of Rodriguez and he bagged a brace nine minutes before the half-time interval.
Rodriguez made it 3-0 on 63 minutes and Falcone got on the scoresheet with three minutes left.
Elsewhere, six-time Copa Libertadores champions Boca Juniors edged Barcelona 1-0 in their group one clash.
Nicolas Blandi's ninth-minute effort was all that separated the two sides and Boca open a provisional two-point lead ahead of Nacional.
In group five, leaders Corinthians consolidated top spot with a narrow 1-0 victory at Millonarios, while San Jose salvaged a 1-1 draw against Tijuana.
