David Beckham's career in numbers

David Beckham has announced he is to retire at the end of the season, bringing his 21-year career to an end.

The former England captain lists Manchester United, Real Madrid, Los Angeles Galaxy, Milan and Paris Saint-Germain among the clubs he has played for since making his United debut in 1992.

Here, we take a look at the numbers behind the 38-year-old's illustrious career.

671 - Beckham's total number of first-team club appearances throughout his career.

10 - League titles won by Beckham over the course of his career. He also won the UEFA Champions League with Manchester United in 1999.

19 - The number of trophies won by Beckham during his career.

115 - The amount of England caps won by Beckham after making his international debut against Moldova in 1996. This is an England record for an outfield player. 

21 - The age at which Beckham was given his full England debut by Glenn Hoddle.

3 - The first England player to score in three consecutive World Cup finals.
