Sweden striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic believes Germany can win the 2014 World Cup despite their 4-4 draw in qualifying on Tuesday.
Germany have been heavily criticised after throwing away a 4-0 lead against the Swedes, who completed a miracle comeback in additional time.
But Ibrahimovic, who played a key role in his side's comeback, was impressed by Germany in the opening hour.
"The Germans were absolutely fantastic in the opening hour. We perhaps played against the best team in the world, that can win the World Cup in 2014," the Paris Saint-Germain striker told Bild.
"Things were looking very bad for us at one point. However, after the 4-1, we thought we could perhaps get something out of the game.
"Our performance was amazing as Germany are a great team."
Germany will be looking to get back on track with an international friendly against the Netherlands on November 14.
