Fulham manager Martin Jol has told Kieran Richardson to up his game if he wants to return to the first team.
The former Manchester United wide man was dropped for the Boxing Day draw with Southampton, after featuring in the recent 4-0 loss to Liverpool at Anfield.
And Jol has revealed he expects more from the 28-year-old, who moved to Craven Cottage for two million pounds in August.
"Richardson isn't producing what I want him to produce. He's lacking spark, fitness," Jol told reporters.
"I want him to do well and be better than what I've got. He knows and he wants to do better."
