K-League wrap: Gwangju still in trouble, Suwon unbeaten

Gwangju missed a golden opportunity to climb out of the relegation zone following a 1-1 draw with Gangwon in the K-League on Sunday.

Lee Seung-Ki's 55th-minute goal put Gwangju in front, though the advantage lasted just seven minutes as Oh Jae-Seok levelled proceedings.

Gwangju fought gallantly in search of a winner, but were forced to settle for a point in front of their home fans.

Gwangju remain seventh on the relegation round table, two points behind sixth-placed Gangwon and K-League safety with six games to play.

Elsewhere in the relegation round, Incheon United extended their unbeaten run to 15 matches following a 0-0 stalemate at home to the Chunnam Dragons.

Daejeon Citizen played host to Seongnam in a 1-1 draw, while the clash between relegated Sangju Sangmu and Daegu was cancelled due to Sangju's refusal to play the remainder of their games.

In the championship round, the Suwon Bluewings extended their undefeated streak to six matches after salvaging a 1-1 draw at home to Jeonbuk Motors.

Lim You-Hwan's 57th-minute goal handed the visitors the lead, before Serbian forward Stevica Ristic equalised with a penalty on 74 minutes.

Pohang Steelers     and Jeju United played out a 1-1 draw at Steelyard Stadium.

The home side claimed the lead through Cho Chan-Ho after 63 minutes, before Heo Jae-Won restored parity eight minutes later.

Finally, Busan IPark entertained Gyeongnam in a 0-0 stalemate.
