Morelia claimed a last-gasp 1-1 draw at Liga MX table-toppers Tigres UANL on Saturday.

The result means Tigres UANL remain undefeated this season, with six wins and three draws from their nine matches.

But they missed a chance to make it seven wins despite Argentine Lucas Lobos' 27th-minute goal.

Morelia substitute Carlos Ochoa netted in stoppage time in the second half to silence the home fans at Estadio Universitario de Nuevo Leon.

Lobos put Tigres UANL ahead after 27 minutes before Morelia substitute Carlos Ochoa netted in stoppage time of the second half.

Their failure to win saw the second-placed America move to within two points of their title rivals on the table.

America beat Cruz Arul 3-0 thanks to a hat-trick from Ecuador striker Christian Benitez.

Other results saw Queretaro and Atlas notch 1-0 home wins over Monterrey and Tijuana respectively, while Puebla won by the same scoreline at Leon.

And Pachuca also finished on the winners' list as goals from Christian Suarez and Angel Reyna helped them to a 2-1 triumph against San Luis.
