Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Siyabonga Nkosi is confident that Amakhosi can success in CAF Champions League when the tournament commence on February next year.
Kaizer Chiefs will face Namibian giants Black Africa across two legs in the Preliminary rounds and the attacking midfielder says the resources in South Africa should play a big role and be an advantage to them.
“South Africa have a good league and the facilities so that is what should help us and make things for us much easier when the play other teams across Africa.” Said the 32-year old Nkosi
“Our league structure is one of the best in Africa if not the World, and if you look at other African teams who are succeeding and have won the Champions League, they don’t have the facilities that we have in our disposal here at home.
Siyabonga Nkosi has enjoyed game time recently under the guidance of British coach Stuart Baxter, and he scored a brace coming off the bench against AmaZulu in their last match of the season. The former German-based midfielder says his will continue working hard as he wants to cements his place in the starting line up.
He concluded. “In football there are no resting times, so even though I have been seeing some action lately, I won’t stop working hard until I see myself in the starting eleven in the match day.
