AC Milan midfielder Antonio Nocerino wants to remain with the Serie A giants, his agent Marco Sommella said on Friday.
Reports suggested the 27-year-old could be on his way out of the San Siro side in the January transfer window.
But Sommella insists his client, who has a contract at the club until June 2016, is keen to stay put.
"I do not think that Nocerino will leave Milan. He has an ongoing contract and has just returned to the starting 11," Sommella told Radio CRC.
"He paid the price for all the changes at Milan this summer, but he's picked himself up and is back to his usual best again."
Nevertheless, Sommella said his client was keen to join Napoli at some point in the future.
"He is a Napoli fan. He would be the happiest man in the world if he would one day play for Napoli," he said.
