Inter Milan defender Andrea Ranocchia says he was always confident they could account for Bologna in their Coppa Italia quarter-final.
Inter appeared to be on their way to a comfortable 2-0 victory on Tuesday, but Alessandro Diamanti and Manolo Gabbiadini both found the net in the final 10 minutes to make it 2-2.
However, Ranocchia eventually helped Inter through with a goal in the closing seconds of extra-time.
"We kept believing right up to the end. It was a great match for us in the end," Ranocchia told the club's official website.
"The main thing is that we got the win. We were really determined to come out victorious.
"Bologna were very good up front, but we managed to cope with them. We're delighted with the result."
Inter will meet either Roma or Fiorentina in the semi-finals of the Coppa Italia.
