France star Franck Ribery is glad to be returning to the Stade de France for his team's friendly clash against Germany on Wednesday.

The 29-year-old Bayern Munich attacker will be among familiar faces in Paris, set to come up against several of his club colleagues.

Ribery said he had found it tough to play in front of jeering fans at Stade de France in the past, but believes he has put that behind him.

"I remember it was a bit hard to play at the Stade de France against USA, it was a bit better against Belgium," he said.

"But the last games played at Stade de France, it went well. Now when I come back, I'm less nervous, less stressed, I play my game like I want, it's a good feeling."

France are unbeaten in their past six matches against Joachim Loew's team, and have not lost to them since Germany's reunification.

Even though Germany will be without Borussia Dortmund trio Marcel Schmelzer, Mario Goetze and Marco Reus, Ribery believes it will be a tough match.

"We will play that game seriously. We'll play it at 100 percent, to win it, because for me, with France, there are no friendlies," he said.

"We are preparing for the games incoming in March. Tomorrow we'll play a good team, even though there are many injured players, it's still Germany with many great players and it won't be easy."
