Schwarzer looks to dampen QPR in derby

Fulham goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer said his side's west London derby with QPR will be the perfect chance to add to their first win in eight.
The 40-year-old suggested the 2-1 win over Newcastle should give Martin Jol's side the confidence to take the game to the Rs on Saturday, but believes the Cottagers will need to sharpen up their finishing after the side missed a number of chances against the Magpies on Monday night.
He told the club's official website: "It's a massive game. We just need to recover now and take the confidence from Monday night's game into the weekend.
"We should have won by more against Newcastle. We had some very good chances, not half-chances or lucky chances - very, very good ones. Their keeper played very well and on another day we might have won more comfortably.
"But of course we're pleased to have won. It was a big game, Newcastle were on similar points to us and it was important to get a win. We'd gone seven games without a win, we'd been unlucky at times, so it's nice to be back to winning ways."
Fulham took the lead through a deflected Steve Sidwell cross-cum-shot, but found themselves pegged back by a Hatem Ben Arfa strike which Schwarzer admitted deceived him after taking a deflection.
"It took a deflection and it's just one of those things," added Schwarzer.
"It dipped and swerved but we went down the other end and got back in front through Hugo (Rodallega) which was deserved as we'd been threatening all night.”
Fulham make the trip to QPR unbeaten in their last six clashes with the Hoops, winning two of their past three games at Loftus Road, without conceding a goal. Harry Redknapp's team remain rooted to the foot of the table, without a win and with just seven points from 16 games.
