Uruguay Primera Division:Round Six Postponed

All activities scheduled for Uruguayan football this weekend has been suspended, the mediation of the Ministry of Labour and Social Security in the conflict with the Uruguayan Football Association (AUF) and Association of Fundraising Uruguayan Football Association (AFRAUF), did not make a difference.
First Division, Uruguayan Youth League, Women's Soccer, and Futsal. All matches organized by the AUF are suspended, which was is not surprising since the Association of Fundraising Uruguayan Football Association (AFRAUF ) called the “Strike irrevocable ." On Wednesday, the AUF thought they could solve the problem with the help of the government but they were wrong.
On Monday, union members will discuss the proposal of the Ministry which promises to have progressive salary increases throughout a three year period and review the working conditions, which are the two main reasons why the problems started.
The Apertura table is very tight and we will have to wait until next weekend to see if any of the teams get the opportunity to solely lead the table.

River Plate - Miramar

There are nine fixtures left for in the Uruguayan youth league and in four weeks only one fixture was played. Two fixtures were postponed due to weather conditions, which left the fields in an unusable condition. Once again the youngsters will have another match postponed and it is a shame this issue affects them.
