Victor Cruz is not only very talented, but he plays in the biggest market in the world. He has a new contract paying him nearly $8 million annually, and has major endorsements with McDonalds, Gillette, Pepsi and Campbell's Soup, just to name a few.
Cruz will turn 27 this year, and recently signed with Jay-Z's marketing empire Roc Nation, which will look to add to his brand in any way imaginable. His Hispanic heritage also adds to his appeal and will push his brand toward a massive demographic in the New York market. Cruz most likely won't command another top contract after this, but his brand appeal, popularity and the aid of Roc Nation will assure that he remains highly popular among fans. His jersey currently ranks as the 15th most popular in the NFL.
