We're at No. 6, and the tight end position is still dicey. You don’t have to look any further than Olsen’s week-to-week numbers to see how inconsistent tight ends are. Olsen finished sixth, but he scored 57 of his 114 FP (exactly 50 percent) in four games. The good news is that Olsen never went scoreless and had at least four or more FP over his last nine games. Plus, the Panthers have added only Domenik Hixon and Ted Ginn to date, and Olsen was second to only Steve Smith in targets and receptions (138/104 and 73/69).
