8. Owen Daniels, HOU
Daniels was the second-most targeted option on his team and had the second-most receptions. The issue with Daniels is that he hasn’t played a full 16 games since 2008. Daniels is also more talented than his stats would show. Matt Schaub is a solid QB, but he rarely lights up the scoreboard, limiting Daniels’ upside. For proof, all you need is Daniels’ career highs: 862 receiving yards in 2008 and six TDs last year. Daniels is a rather talented receiving tight end, but he won’t ever crack the Top Five.
