Finally! The Rock has… wait, sorry… I meant to say, “Finally, we get to Gronk.” Don’t be misled by his ranking of fourth. No tight end has more upside or potential. However, no tight end has more risk. There is talk that his arm is still infected and that further treatment could reach the preseason. Now we are talking potential missed OTA and preseason action, and who knows if it comes down to missed games too. Yes, Gronkowski finished second with just 11 games played and was the only tight end to reach double-digit TDs. Nevertheless, you simply can’t ignore the inherent risk, and the fact that his draft cost won’t reflect that issue.
