With the 61st pick of the 2005 NFL Draft, the San Diego Chargers selected Vincent Jackson, a wide receiver out of Northern Colorado. Jackson spent seven years with the Chargers, totaling 272 receptions for 4,754 yards and 37 touchdowns.
Jackson was primarily used as a secondary receiver for his first two-plus seasons, but once he was granted the opportunity to be a lead receiver, Jackson flourished. Since becomng the "number one" receiver, Jackson has averaged around 65 receptions for 1,100-plus yards and eight touchdowns per year.
