5 Best Receivers In Cowboys History

Frank Clarke

After three dismal seasons in Cleveland, Clarke headed south in 1960 to join the expansion team in Dallas and spend the next five seasons at flanker.

In 1961 and 1962, Clarke led the league in yards per catch and receiving touchdowns with 14. Even though Clarke spent his last three years at tight end and played his last game 55 years ago in the infamous Ice Bowl of 1967, Clarke remains sixth all-time in yards and fourth in touchdowns for the Cowboys.

Clarke’s spot on this list as well as his current position in the record book will likely not survive the 2013 season if a certain hamstring holds up for a full 16-game schedule this fall.
