Georgia completed its spring game on April 6, and much to the surprise of those in attendance, the Black team beat the Red team, 23-17.
The Black team featured the No. 1 defense and the No. 2 offense against the Red team, which featured the No. 1 offense and No. 2 defense.
For many fans, with the loss of so many players on defense, it was a surprise to see them hold their own against an offense that returned many starters.
