Anthony Jefferson

It took Anthony Jefferson some time to establish himself in the UCLA Bruins’ defensive back rotation, but he broke through in 2013 when he started all 13 games.  A solid cover guy with good speed, he had seven passes defensed and recorded 89 tackles in 2013, earning honorable mention All-Pac-12 honors along the way. He enters 2014 as a key member of a defensive secondary that returns four starters and plenty of depth.

High School

A receiver and defensive back at Cathedral High School in Los Angeles, Jefferson was a four-star recruit after earning all-state honors as a senior. That year he had 42 tackles from his cornerback spot on defense, but recorded 63 catches for 1,286 yards and 15 touchdowns on offense.
