Jul 05, 2013 12:47 AM EST
KNVB Cup holders AZ Alkmaar will begin the defence of their crown with a home clash against Sparta Rotterdam.
AZ are among the Eredivisie and Eerste Divisie sides who enter at round two, while round one features amateur sides from the Netherlands.
Gertjan Verbeek's AZ side defeated PSV Eindhoven 2-1 in last season's final at De Kuip courtesy of strikes from Adam Maher and Jozy Altidore.
That was the club's first success in the competition since 1982, when they thrashed Utrecht 5-1.
Last season's runners-up PSV also start at home as they welcome Telstar to the Philips Stadion.
Phillip Cocu's men are aiming to reclaim the cup they won in 2012 and have lifted the trophy on nine occasions.
Eredivisie champions Ajax face Volendam at the Amsterdam Arena.
One of the standout ties of the second round sees the all top-flight clash between Heerenveen and FC Twente at the Abe Lenstra Stadion.
Also in round two, Utrecht host Den Bosch and Feyenoord face off against Dordrecht.
In the first round, Topklasse outfit FC Lisse were the first out of the hat and drew a home tie with TEC to be held at the Sportpark Ter Specke, while HSV Hoek travel to the Sportpark De Groote Wielen to face OJC Rosmalen.
Elsewhere, Volkel play Rijnsburgse Boys as Capelle and Chabab battle for a place in round two.
