While LSU fans may not blink at 37 points, it comes as a surprise to most of the rest of the SEC. Last year, the Tigers averaged 21.8 points against ranked opponents.
Against TCU, the Tigers stayed in control throughout the game, constantly having an answer for every time TCU scored a field goal or touchdown.
Zach Mettenberger finished the game with 251 yards, completing 16 of 32 passes, while the running game nearly got to 200 yards. Jarvis Landry and Odell Beckum played the way we know they're capable of, catching a combined 13 balls for 227 yards.
It's a good start for a team that still has Georgia, Florida, Texas A&M and Alabama on its schedule.
