At first glance, you notice that the Washington Redskins are 1-3. Your initial thoughts: there is no way the Redskins can make the playoffs this year. However, if you take a look at the NFC East standings through five weeks, you notice that the Redskins are one game out of first place. What?
And if you've been paying attention to the National Football League for the past few years, you'll also notice that in 2010 the Seattle Seahawks managed to win a division title with a 7-9 record. So, a division title is highly plausible with a .500 record, especially considering the current state of the NFC East. With that said, the division title is up for grabs and could very well end up in Washington's hands.
I believe the Redskins can conjure up some magic with 12 games remaining in their season, and here is what I predict.
