Brandon Ivory is a nose guard for the Alabama Crimson Tide of the Southeastern Conference. He was named one of the top 100 prospects in the nation to watch for the 2015 NFL Draft by NFLDraftScout.com.
Ivory attended East High School in Tennessee. Rivals.com ranked him as the 73rd best defensive lineman in the country coming out of high school and he was a late addition to Alabama’s recruiting class. He finished his senior season at East with 45 tackles and chose the Crimson Tide over Memphis and Southern Miss.
Ivory redshirted at Alabama in 2010 and participated in four games in 2011. His best game in 2011 came against Georgia Southern as Ivory finished with three tackles in the contest.
In 2012 Ivory played in 12 games while making one start. He finished the season with 21 tackles, a quarterback hurry and a fumble recovery. His first career start came against Western Kentucky where he picked up both his QB hurry and his fumble recovery. Ivory recorded five tackles in a win over LSU and three tackles in Alabama’s Iron Bowl win over Auburn. He also recorded a tackle in both the SEC Championship Game and the BCS Championship Game.
Ivory finished the 2013 season with 24 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss and one quarterback hurry. Entering 2014, Ivory was named a fourth team pre-season All-SEC selection by Athlon Sports.
