Terrel Hunt will be a great leader for Syracuse heading into the 2014 season and is most likely the long-term answer at quarterback. His experience is his best asset and he can only get better.
To improve, he needs to work on his mechanics, footwork and technique with quarterbacks coach Tim Lester. He also needs to utilize his wide receivers. On signing day, the Orange brought in players with the speed to turn up the offense full throttle in K.J. Williams, Steve Ishmael and Corey Cooper.
Another season also gives Hunt more time to learn the playbook, watch film and bond with the team, all advantages that will improve the chemistry on the field.
The Orange are at a definite advantage having Hunt for two more years because it gives the younger guys more time to learn under a well-rounded leader. And if Hunt keeps up his current trajectory, it should be a fun season to watch for Orange fans.
