Carlos Tevez



Carlos Tevez was born in Ciudadela, Buenos Aires on 5 February 1984. A skillful attacking player, who primarily operates as a centre forward, he is known for his work rate, dribbling, technical ability and goalscoring and is considered by many observers to be one of the most talented forwards of his generation.

Tevez graduated from the Boca Juniors youth academy and first rose to international attention after breaking into their first team squad. In total, he played more than 100 matches for the side, and was named as the Copa Libertadores MVP for 2003; a competition which Boca won.
