Nicolas Castillo has scored twice as Chile Primera Division leaders Universidad Catolica thrashed struggling Rangers 5-1.
Catolica handed Rangers their sixth consecutive defeat on Sunday with Hans Martinez, Enzo Andia, Ismael Sosa and Castillo scoring for the victors, while Sebastian Sciorilli added a late goal for the visitors at the Estadio San Carlos de Apoquindo.
The win took Catolica two points clear at the top of the Primera Division, after they had started the weekend only ahead of O'Higgins and Cobreloa on goal difference.
Catolica hit the front in the 24th minute when Martinez scored and were 2-0 up at the break after Castillo notched his first goal of the game.
Andia stretched the lead to three goals nine minutes after half-time and Sosa punished Rangers again soon after, scoring his fifth goal of the season to move within one of the Chilean league's dual top-scorers; Sebastian Pol of Santiago Wanderers and Patricio Rubio of Universidad de Chile.
Castillo claimed his brace with 20 minutes remaining before Sciorilli struck in the 87th minute to complete the scoring.
Catolica moved to 21 points from 10 matches to build a gap on O'Higgins and Cobreloa.
O'Higgins drew 1-1 away to Universidad Chile, while Cobreloa gave up a lead twice to lose 3-2 against Deportes Iquique.
In Santiago, O'Higgins took the lead in the 64th minute but the home side claimed a point thanks to Sebastian Ubilla's 71st-minute equaliser.
Deportes Iquique continued their unbeaten run with Santiago Romero's goal and Cesar Pinares' spot-kick in the final eight minutes ensuring their win away to Cobreloa.
The win took Iquique to 18 points alongside Cobreloa and Palestino, who defeated Huachipato 2-0.
