Colton Williams is a contributing writer for covering the Big 12.

Williams attended Texas A&M-Kingsville University where he earned his bachelor's degree in communications with a minor in journalism. While in college, Williams worked with The South Texan newspaper as a sports reporter and sports editor. He also worked for the Javelina Broadcast Network, a college-run network that broadcasted all of the university’s athletic events. As a writer and editor for the South Texan, Williams won numerous writing awards from the Texas Intercollegiate Press Association (TIPA). 

Williams has interviewed professional athletes like Mike Adams and John Randle and was selected as a commentator and analyst for the 2013 NCAA Division II South Central Regional Baseball Tournament.
