Torrance Gibson made his way to Auburn this weekend for Big Cat Weekend.
The Plantation (Fla.) American Heritage five-star quarterback came into the trip with Tennessee and Auburn tied for the lead of his commitment.
Big Cat Weekend has passed and Auburn has moved ahead of the Vols, "Moved [Auburn] up a lot," Gibson said. Gibson then took to Twitter Sunday afternoon and sent 247Sports a direct message: "Auburn is my leader but they (Tennessee and Auburn) both still share the #1 spot."
It's no surprise Auburn gained a lot of momentum right after Big Cat Weekend, but is it enough?
Tennessee and Butch Jones are still very well alive in getting Gibson to commit, especially if Gibson feels that the Vols are still a co-leader with Big Cat Weekend fresh on his mind.
Tennessee will have their opportunity this month with Gibson attending a quarterbacks camp in Tennessee - which will feature Jon Gruden.
There's no doubt the race between Tennessee and Auburn is far from over in the Torrance Gibson sweepstakes, a sweepstake that may take recruiting pitches of Cam Newton/Bo Jackson vs. Peyton Manning/Jon Gruden.
